Table T-02, true elegance and sophistication in an understated manner

In the studio we spent the last few years experimenting with design craft, through casting and ceramics, imagining and creating complexed shapes and forms. As we looked forwarded designer Kwaku Boateng wanted to experiment with sheet metals particularly steel to create a range of furniture. This stunning piece of furniture is the result of designer Kwaku Boateng’s extensive exploration of new materials and processes.

Crafted from a single piece of 5mm dense brushed stainless steel which anchors the table to the floor, T-02 coffee table exudes an aura of refined industrial charm. Its raw steel nature imparts a distinct character and rugged industrial aesthetic… It features four defining bends that give it a distinctive shape, with a plate that parallels the floor.

The plate was designed to allow users to store their favourite books, showcasing the designer’s love for reading. The simplicity and elegance of the T-02 are evident in every detail. The brushed finish of the stainless steel adds a touch of sophistication.

Table T-02 ranked no.2 in Monocle Magazine's Design Top 25 in focus Global 12/ 2023.

“Kwaku Boateng, product designer and co-founder of London-based studio Triqis, designed this sleek side table from a single piece of brushed stainless steel, which will develop a distinct patina as it ages – bumps and scratches will add to its edgy, industrial aesthetic. The t-02 also includes a plate that lines the floor to store books”.
